Based on a modular design, the extreme reliability of this semi-automatic, system means it can operate continuously at 100% duty cycle is, giving you the flexibility to plan your welding schedule for maximise efficiency.

Increased Deposition Rates
In addition, Weldclad's oscillating welding head enables the system to achieve deposition rates of up to 12kg/hour per welding head, on larger rolls, as compared with 7 to 8kg/hour for an un-oscillated, open arc system, significantly reducing your operating time.

Reduced Machining Costs
In addition, the oscillation system produces a much flatter weld bead profile, which means less metal needs to be machined off after welding to achieve the roll's final dimensions. Less time in the lathe means lower machining costs (in terms of both consumables and the operator), and less weld metal is lost as machine swarf, which in turn means that the initial material requirement can be reduced - in other words a more efficient system.

Greater efficiency reduced time in the welding machine and competitively priced high quality materials have generated very real year on year reductions in costs.
