Die reclamation occurs by the systematic deposition of weld layers achieving a build-up of 3-5mm per layer.
- A deposition rate of ~18kg/hr can be achieved.
- The welding parameters are pre-set to ensure consistent, reproducible and high quality MIG welding.
- The motion of the welding torch is controlled remotely by a joystick.
- The machine has a ~ 100% duty cycles, allowing multi-shift use (excluding time for slag removal and wire changes).
- The operator is shielded from the ultra-violet radiation evolved from the arc.
The fumes generated during welding are locally extracted and filtered to minimise degradation to the ambient air. |
